Crafty Weekend!

Well I finally had a chance to scrap this weekend and so I have 3 new layouts to share.  Scrapbookstar is having an online crop which always helps to get me motivated add to that the great sketches that I found and I got a sucessful scrappy weekend.  So here is the first sketch that I started with from Creative Scrapper

and here is what I came up with, I love the colors and the gold foiling on the music paper it looks truly magical IRL.  This is a pic I took of my Erica (the one in the middle), her friend Kelly and my neice Ashley.  I love this picture, they all look adorable!  So the challenge that inspired this creation was the Add Some Winter, we where to add some winter themed accents to our page.  I had these sweet little winter words that I had left over from an old Swilrydoo kit and I thought they would work well with the sketch and so a layout is born.

I also did my second layout with another great sketch for Creative Scrapper, here is the sketch

I got for gorgeous papers from a RAK I won from my Swirly Sister Jannike all the way from Sweeden!  These papers in the package she did up for me were amazing, beyond gorgeous!!  I've had these pics for a while and I could never find the right papers for them and low and behold I did.  The mini roses where also part of her RAK!  Talk about being spoiled rotten!!  The alpha's where plain chipboard that I misted with some smootch but I thought that they blended too mouch witht the background so I added some black cardstock to them to make them pop a little more.

The last Layout I did was for anothe Scrapbook Star challenge, we were to scrap a First, this was my daughter's first time on Snowshoes!  This was taken at our camp last winter!  The pine cones where a stamp I got from Jannike I stamped them on Kraft paper with walnut stain distress ink and cut them out.

Here is a close up of the snowflakes they are so pretty and sparkely, they were white chipboad pieces that I covered in glossy accents, dipped in diamond dust and topped with a Gem stones!  I love the way they turned out!!
